FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What is the difference between embroidery and printing?
A. Embroidery gives the highest quality reproduction of your brand in most instances. It will last the lifetime of your garment, it can cope with many colours for no extra charge and it can be reproduced on virtually any item of clothing.

Printing is especially suited to lighter garments, such as Teeshirts, where a large embroidery would be too heavy. It is also of use on High Visibility garments. We can use a transfer print for low volumes, where there is no set up charge, or Screen Printing for high volumes where the low cost per print pays for the screens required for each colour.

Q. Is there a set up charge?
A. For embroidery there is a one-off charge for Origination. For screen printing there is a charge for each colour. For transfer printing no charge. Note that for screen and transfer printing the artwork must be supplied in an acceptable format

Q. Will I have to pay for set up charges on future orders?
A. No, the set up charge only applies to your first order for embroidery. Screen charges may be levied again unless the order is made regularly as screens are usually destroyed after 6 months.

Q. What formats will you accept for artwork?
A. For embroidery it can be in any format. For printing, the artwork needs to be supplied in an EPS vector file or equivalent. If you are not sure just ring one of our team for advice

Q. Is there a limit to the amount of colours I can have on my logo?
A. With embroidery we can handle up to 9 different colours at no extra cost. For printing we can use an infinite amount of colours but the cost increases with each colour used.

Q. Can I see a sample of the garment before ordering?
A. Yes, we can post you a sample*, you can visit our showrooms or, depending where you are based, we can bring a selection of garments to your workplace for selection.
* There may be a charge that is refundable when the order is placed

Q. Can I have bespoke garments produced?
A. Yes, we have been manufacturing bespoke garments, such as Paddock Shirts and Aprons, for race teams and do the same for businesses

Q. Are there any other costs involved?
A. Just VAT and delivery.

Q. What are your delivery times?
A. Our normal delivery time is two weeks.

Q. Is there a minimum order quantity?
A. Our normal minimum order is 12 garments - but this can be made up of a number of different items.
